Top 3 trends in energy PR

Energy PR trend 1:

Integration of conference, social media, and traditional media. To illustrate this trend, let me tell a story around one of our clients–MyCelx, a company that removes oil from water streams to 99.9% purity, and works globally. This year for Offshore Technology Conference, we submitted an application for their consideration as New Technology Spotlight. As a first time OTC attendee, the company was thrilled to be selected by the Society of Petroleum Engineers for this honor–which given the competition level, USED to be enough to drive booth traffic and create a terrific event. But in today’s more integrated age, close coordination with the on-site newspaper, with the pre-show weekly enewsletter, and Twitter outreach on site is what created an outstanding presence. No one thing can be identified as a “game changer” in today’s energy public relations successes–given a great product or service offering, the game-changer tends to be “integration.”

Energy PR trend 2:

Social Isn’t Stupid. To put it bluntly, while you can hear that the decision makers in energy aren’t on social “yet” and so it’s a waste of effort, two key groups ARE on social media–major business and trade journalists, and energy consumers. Enough said. Not all publicity is designed to reach only a c-level executive at a multi-billion dollar company. One of Write2Market’s energy PR clients was recently interviewed for an hour during Energy Week on MSNBC–terrific placement for investors and building the firm’s value. One of the anchor’s last questions was, what’s your Twitter handle. He created one right after the segment.

Energy PR trend 3:

Weave Awards. Often overlooked, as different media properties such as Forbes, Inc Magazine, Crain’s, and Platt’s are pressured to distinguish themselves and develop deeper reader followings, one of the avenues is by creating a signature award. Winning these awards takes a terrific application, but our energy public relations clients like Mansfield Oil have found awards to be a key component of building better relationships across the industry. For example, by winning both the top energy award from Information Week 500 and one of the top 10 CIO awards, the downstream distribution giant has hard evidence to help convince the Fortune 250 that their IT infrastructure is second to none in the sector. Not only that, but they get “in the room” with other CIOs and industry leaders with whom relationships can be forged.

New Energy Saving With Magnetic Generators

New energy saving is one of the most sought after subjects in the world today! With the ever rising price of energy where do we turn? Magnetic generators are becoming a big point of interest!

With the changing times it has become a priority to look for methods of new energy saving and points of supply for generating energy. Discovering new ways of cheaper energy production is essential for us to become unconstrained of the power companies! Along with saving ourselves cash, we also help our environment. The production of free and low cost energy is a crucial requirement of our life. Energy cost are, and have been, skyrocketing!!

Producing electricity through magnetic generators is a technological breakthrough. There have been several studies made of the cheapest ways to produce energy. There is no energy generating source that is lower costing than power produced by magnetic generators. It doesn’t require a big budget to get started. Magnetic energy generators power themselves and create energy without requiring solar energy, heat, water, coal or any additional kind of resource. As I said, it powers itself and works indefinitely without stopping, thus creating a large amount of new energy saving.

Magnetic generators are not harmful to the environment because while they induce energy, they do it without yielding any harmful gases. Magnets use their opposing forces to induce perpetual motion to generate energy that is usable in any circumstance. Many people love the idea of generating their own electric power for free and have already started using this technology to power their household. At this time I would like to discuss the advantages of installation. With the magnetic generators there is no need to find a professional to apply this type of new energy saving! Additionally there will be no need for calling anyone for maintenance. You can maintain and build your own unit or units! This power supply is convenient and effective because it demands no other external energy source to provide you with uninterrupted energy.

What are magnets? Permanent magnets get their name for the following reason: (materials that can be magnetized by an external magnetic field and remain magnetized after the external field is removed)!! Only a few substances are ferromagnetic, the common ones are iron, nickel, cobalt and most of their alloys.

Generators that provide electricity by the use of magnets have been around for some time. The amount of revenue lost by the giants in energy would be devastating if the world was to apply new energy saving inventions that are available! The price of consumer products that are necessary for every day life would also be sliced!

Magnetic generators can be effective for us all if we can get past the belief that fossil fuel, coal and the rest of our natural resources are the only way to enjoy our current luxuries in life. New energy saving by way of secret inventions (subdued by our own governments because of fear) could be our answer to the struggles facing the world!!

Clean Energy Solar Power Panels or Magnetic Generators Advantages and Disadvantages

By dealing with the several Clean Energy sources available nowadays, the question turns up whether we prefer a Solar Energy System or a Magnetic Power Generator.

Generally speaking, I would say that both sources of energy are very good. Nonetheless, each solution has some advantages and disadvantages that we must bear in mind. The advantages of an alternative, clean and renewable energy are clear, mainly because the gotten energy is totally free and non-contaminating, but it has some disadvantages as well. One of these is the room the setting up of these systems demands in our homes: whereas the solar panels can be built on the roof of our house, the magnetic generator needs a specific space to be placed, usually inside our house. Nevertheless, this small inconvenience should not be an impediment if we truly were for a sustainable, clean energy to power our home.

The biggest impediment when introducing a home alternative energy system is, for most of us, the financial issue. Solar energy for powering our home and its different lights and devices would be wonderful, but a full home solar energy system is actually too expensive to fit in the financial possibilities of the average family in almost all countries in the world.

On the other hand, purchasing a magnetic generator is not as easy as that since, at the time I am writing this article, I do not know about any manufacturer that is making and distributing this kind of generators.

So, the issue in that case would be to build a DIY or homemade energy system, either a solar energy or a magnet generator system, or both!

There are some ways in which we can build a set of solar panels ourselves (which are the most expensive item in the solar energy solution) as well as make a magnetic generator with the help of some mechanic specialists nearby.

In my opinion, we could try both systems, since the solar thermal energy or STE (that is to say, the technology for using solar energy in order to get hot water or heating systems) is not as costly as photovoltaics (which translates solar energy directly into electrical power). In my recent stay in India, I was glad to find that in some guesthouses there was “unlimited” hot water service and this was because of the solar thermal energy systems they had built up on the roof. It was a very encouraging bit of news to see how people are moving into alternative, inexhaustible and non-polluting energy sources all around the world.

As for the power our homes need, a solar photovoltaic electricity system would be the right answer provided that the solar panels were not so outrageously expensive! To overcome this obstacle we have two choices: either we build the solar panels ourselves or we take to the magnetic generator. If you asked me “what would you choose?” my answer would be: “Both!” (If possible, of course, and gradually at any rate).

Finally, if we want to help each other and ourselves by utilising non-contaminating energy sources for the sake of our environment, the two choices mentioned in this article are a very salutary solution. However, they are not the only possibilities to power our homes with clean energy: wind energy is also a very good alternative too, but of this I will speak elsewhere!

When should you switch energy providers to get the best energy prices

Of all household bills, taxes and other things we have to pay out, energy prices are the ones that seem to fluctuate the most, and yet always seem to be on the rise! With all of the major energy providers announcing price hikes in the last few months that could see some people paying as much as 80 extra a year, and only a single provider (EDF) freezing their prices until March, it might seem on paper that switching at all is complete waste of the time, but that isnt the case at all you just need to be smart about when and how you switch over! Here are some simple tips to help you decide when to switch over:

Pricing A huge number of different things can make energy prices go up, down, or stall. Consumer groups and government are usually pushing for cheaper energy prices especially for vulnerable customers, while things like wars, disputes and shortages can push the prices up. For the last few years energy prices have actually been reasonably stable, but prices have started to rise again now, which shows that you cant always predict when and how these changes are going to happen.

What usually happens in the UK is that pretty much all of the big providers change their prices at the same time, and you should make sure all the big names have made their price announcements before you move over. If you move too quickly after only a single provider has made a decision, you could be left on a more expensive tariff and on a long contract that will make it impossible to switch again for at least a year without paying exit fees.

Watching & Comparing Knowing what the energy companies are doing and when and where they are going to announce good deals and special offers can make a huge difference to the price you can end up with. Keeping an eye on the market will give you a better idea of what companies are offering better deals. You could do this by monitoring six different electricity websites, but its far simpler to just watch a good comparison or consumer news website instead, which will provide you with news, prices and information of all big providers as they happen. You can subscribe to blogs, newsletters and RSS feeds from most comparison and consumer websites as well, which means you dont even have to spend time constantly visiting them to get the latest news.

Switching Once youve found a great provider and have waited for all the big names to announce where they stand, actually switching over to a different provider is very easy. The great thing about switching is that not only can you find an overall cheaper monthly deal, but you can also enjoy the benefits and offers that are nearly always only offered to new customers. Customers who switch their provider regularly can take advantage of these deals and one time offers which can see their electricity costs being reduced even further. The switching process is simple and painless, but it can take up to eight weeks, so always allow time to move over during which you might still be charged on the rates of your old provider.

Advanced Technologies in Relation to Renewable Energy

Advanced technologies in relation to the renewable energy

Someday, technological innovations will be available to anyone. These technologies will aid in reducing biological hazards and environmental dangers. Someday, those technologies may even be found unthinkable as creations but they will be successfully utilized.

This is true in connection to the renewable energy technologies.

Today, technicians and engineers are constantly hard at work trying to create world-class technologies. Day by day, news and reports are announced to inform the general public about the various inventions that are safe, Eco-friendly and important to mankind. Through research, one can discover that countries are creating their very own renewable energy technology to help save the planet from destruction brought about by the accumulation of pollution, specifically man-made pollution.

The environmental pollution has meet its match

The world is going green to safeguard the Earth from total obliteration.

At present, the technological innovations are centered on creating environments that uphold human health and other living thing’s safety. In this manner, pollution can be halted and possibly even restore the cleanliness of the surroundings.

Mentioned below are few of the highly valued inventions created to this date:

In Europe for example, research on making algae as a source of energy is ongoing. Algae are available all throughout the shores of every country making it highly commendable for energy usage. This type of energy is known as Energetic Algae. Since it is widely accessible various organizations are convinced that a sustainable energy can be produced using it.

In South West England the creation of a new technology commonly called the Wave Hub is in the process. Despite being a country known to have lesser technologies available for renewable energy as compared to others, it has still pioneered the conversion of wave energy to sustainable electricity.

Another promising development is the creation of Atlantis Resources Corporation’s AK1000. This is expected to be installed this year at the European Marine Energy Center. The AK1000 is expected to be the largest and most powerful tidal turbine ever made, it can provide electricity up to 1 Megawatt. Aside from the vast energy it can offer to residences it boosts faith in renewable energy that cannot jeopardize the environment.

Lastly the High Concentration Photo Voltaic solar technology is a type of solar power that exceeds the 40% efficiency barrier. In relation to the usual solar energy panels that only reaches 15% efficiency barrier. High Concentration Photo Voltaic technology provides three times of economic revenues. This allows more energy yields at a lower cost. Recently the Renewable Energy Institute a company that has innovated the renewable energy technology have partnered with a United States based engineering company that has been searching for locations at the southwest part of the United States of America to place the said invention.

The good things about renewable energy technologies

With so many environmental problems countries are facing these years, it is vital that the attention must be refocused on saving nature since there is only one Earth. Since the development of various technologies is very relevant in providing renewable energy, it can be guaranteed that environmental hazards will soon decrease, or even disappear.

The benefits of these technologies include halting the global warming, cleaning of the air, lessening of the carbon emissions, and saving of the plants and animals. In general, technologies aimed at renewable energy help on the salvaging of the ecosystem and regaining its normal fauna and flora.

In addition man kind can fully enjoy every daily task without causing risks through the aid of the renewable energy inventions. The High Concentration Photo Voltaic solar technology lessens monthly electric bills, the AK1000 and Energetic Algae supply alternative forms of sustainable electricity and of course the wave hub decreases destruction of the ecosystem.

Probably many people might be wondering how ambitious most inventions are, yet such researches greatly save the environment from total destruction. It is today that men need to consider the use of the renewable energy technology not just to halt the massive damage but to save the Earth for the future use of the next of generations.

With the environmental pollution as a problem and with renewable energy technology as a solution, an action today is important; tomorrow is not even an option.
